Ministries at New Hope Free Will Baptist Church
A church can’t grow in faith and fellowship without following the Great Commission:
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore[a] and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Matthew 28:18-20 (NKJV)
At New Hope, we place a great value on serving and ministering to others. Here are some of the ministries we offer.
Discipleship Training
Join us at 9:30 am for Discipleship service on Sunday mornings. Topics range from witnessing to Mormons or Jehovah’s Witnesses to Evangelical Training Association classes on the Old Testament, New Testament or Christian Worldview. If you’re interested, stop on by!
All-Ages Sunday School
Sunday School classes are held at 9:30 am on Sunday mornings, and are divided by age groups – toddlers, children and teens.
Children’s Church
Our friendly Children’s Church staff will make sure your kids are well taken care of during the worship service, and have a blast learning God’s Word at the same time! The Elements Curriculum from Randall House is the basis for our Children’s Church program, and kids will enjoy puppet shows, skits, fun music, video lessons from Pastor Steve of Donnelson Fellowship, and age-appropriate Bible lessons. The fun begins at 10:45 am!
MiG Men’s Ministry
MiG (“Men in the Gap”, our Men’s Ministry) meets the second Saturday of every month at 9 am for breakfast at the church and to pray over our missionaries around our nation and to discuss topics relevant to men today – from facing sexual temptation to the pressures of the “rat race” on our daily lives.
Women’s Ministry
The New Hope Women’s Group meets to pray for our international missionaries and to support and encourage others. The Women’s Group also participates in two annual retreats. Come join us!
Youth Group
The youth group is an active outreach building friendships and faith for your teens in Jr. High and High School. We meet each Wednesday night at 7 pm at the church to encourage one another, pray for our friends and families, hang out and enjoy activities such as movies, games, lazertag and more. Service projects are also on the horizon. Bring your friends!
